Alice von Arsis is a beautiful 12 month old German Shepherd. Smaller She is shy and somewhat fearful, and needs a kind human to help her to come out of her shell. Alice walks well on leash, never pulling, although her tendency is to hide behind you when encountering a new situation. She walks better with other dogs, appearing happier and more confident when in the presence of a canine friend. Alice is low-to-mid energy and is a very sweet and submissive girl. When you crouch down to her level, she will put her head in your lap to show that she trusts you. Her ability to trust and love, is truly heartwarming. This well-behaved sweetie gets along well with other dogs, previously sharing her kennel with another female. In playgroups she is shy and submissive, and will not rough-house with other dogs, but gets along with everybody. Alice went on her first hike at Griffith Park recently and seemed to really come out of her shell, happily letting all the volunteers pet her and tell her what a wonderfully well-behaved girl she is. She is a true gentle beauty, both on the inside and outside, and would love to find a foster or forever home who will show her the love and kindness that she never received earlier.
